Where is Global Entrepreneurship Week happening? How many countries celebrate GEW?

Everywhere. Who can get involved in Global Entrepreneurship Week? Anybody. Anywhere. Anytime. Organizations can get involved in a variety of capacities – planning activities, events or competitions, as an official Community Organizer, planning committee, or as a local partner. Individuals interested in exploring their entrepreneurial potential can find a broad array of activities – from local events to global competitions. Entrepreneurs and investors can share their ideas and experiences – face-to-face or online. How you get involved is up to you. If you want a little guidance, connect with your State Coordinator or Community Organizer, the list can be found online at gewusa.co. If there is not a State Coordinator or Community Organizer for your area, please contact Ellen Bateman, GEN’s Director for U.S. Ecosystems, at ellen@genglobal.org. What do I have to do? It is simple. Plan an activity, event or competition for the week of November 16-22. It can be as small or as large as you like. Already have something planned for that week that is intended to support entrepreneurs? Even better! Do I have to plan an activity or event for every day of Global Entrepreneurship Week? No, there is no requirement for the number of activities or events you host. Some local partners plan only one activity while others, like entrepreneurship clubs on college campuses, have planned 20 or more. Whether you plan a little or a lot, please make sure any activities you hold are registered on the GEW USA site: http://gewusa.co Also, look at the existing entrepreneurial activities that are already happening in your ecosystem during GEW and encourage them to participate in the campaign. No need to reinvent the wheel, you can celebrate what you are already doing to support entrepreneurs in your community – and tap into the momentum and visibility created by GEW.
