GEW and InMARG Entrepreneurs Global Connect seeks to inspire communities left out of the entrepreneurial revolution where talent may be plentiful but opportunity is not. America is a nation of entrepreneurs still many communities have been left behind. Economies cannot recover in a timely way if half of their populations are left out due to the Covid pandemic situation. In the United States, African Americans are 14% of the population but get less than 1% of venture capital. Women are 50% but receive less than 10%, and entrepreneurs in 3 states like California, New York, and Boston get 75%.

EWC Accelerates is a virtual training and mentorship program that helps entrepreneurs hone their skills and increase their chances of winning their national competitions – as well as those who advance to the Global Finals. The EWC online platform also offers all contestants who complete their applications access to more than $25,000 in perks from partners such as Google Cloud, Hubspot, Stripe, InMARG, and more.
The program offers a chance to pitch on a global stage for a share of US$1 million in cash prizes plus additional investment opportunities and another US$75 million in in-kind support. More than 102,000 entrepreneurs took part in the inaugural EWC in 2019. From this massive field of talent, 187 countries were represented with startups offering solutions in fields as diverse as artificial intelligence, automation, climate change, agriculture and so many more. 2020 is set to be bigger and better!
